Happy Customers Experience the Difference at European Motors

European Motors is a medium-sized auto sales facility known for offering a concentrated selection of fine luxury vehicles in desirable configurations. I like this because it means they specialize in what they do - and I’ve learned to always try to do business with folks who specialize rather than ’do it all’.

My search for a specifically equipped BMW (335d without navigation, black interior, etc) would generally yield 8-20 hits within a 1,000 miles radius of Atlanta. This search went on for a couple weeks until I ran across European Motors - the first to have three vehicles at once that all fit my hard-to-find criteria. I think anyone looking for an attractively-equipped, lightly-used luxury vehicle in the Dallas area should keep tabs on this website and refresh it daily. The photos are clear, unaltered and plentiful - and the selection changes pretty much daily.

The thing about doing business of any kind these days is communication - because now it’s easier than ever to communicate with e-mail, text, phone calls. However, most dealerships don’t seem capable of managing multiple threads of communication. Indeed, many dealers tend to shun all comms other than phone, which to me is a red flag pointing to the possibility that they don’t want a ’paper’ trail to be established between the customer and the dealership.

Sam at European Motors, on the other hand, was very open with all communications. He fielded several phone calls and dozens of emails in the process of purchasing this vehicle, and he was easy to communicate with - good energy, calm, efficient and yet personable - and most importantly - no b.s. salesman talk. Reminded me of talking to a bank manager at a credit union, rather than some guy who’s rabid about the possibility of forking you for a few more g’s.

There’s a a lot of evidence that this dealership will continue to outstrip their local competition:
* 95% or more of the selection is focused on a special range of models, makes and configurations. If you want a european luxury vehicle for a reasonable price - this is where you go.
* Facilities are CLEAN. Every square inch.
* Pricing is straight-forward. No BS. No surprises. (Think CarMax or similar retail chain, but better prices.)
* Literally the only dealership I dealt with out of 10+ that was actually good at communicating via email.

When I set out to find the vehicle I wanted, I got approved for a loan at a credit union, didn’t compromise in my search and I got what I wanted. Sam made sure nothing sketchy happened that could have ignited any possibility of buyer’s remorse simply by communicating efficiently and openly during the entire process. I’m sure if I lived in Dallas, Sam’s team would have worked out a fair financing scheme for me, but out-of-towners are required to bring their own financing - something I decided to do before I even started shopping.

The 900 mile test drive was pretty awesome, too. xD

I purchased my second vehicle from European Motors located in Plano, Tx. and will definitely be back for my Daughters first vehicle next year. The first vehicle I purchased was a C320 Mercedes and never had any issues whatsoever for six years, fantastic car. The second vehicle is a Infiniti G37S purchased in August, 2013 and again, has been a wonderful car. I appreciate a Dealership that doesnt use high pressure sales tactics and truely lets you browse the lot in peace. The after sale service from Sam was excellent, a scratch on the door was fully repaired after the sale (not noticed until afterwards). I do not like to haggle and have always dreaded the "car buying experience". Sam at European Motors made my experience quick, easy, and painless. I even asked a friend "in the business" to crosscheck the deal and he said the deal was very fair and European Motors had a good reputation amongst dealers. As a single woman, buying a car can be somewhat intimidating, especially from an independent dealer. However, the prices were so reasonable, I had to take a look. What I found was a friendly and helper salesman, Sam, very informative but NOT a hard "sell" salesman. I was going to have to wait a week to have the car checked out by my mechanic and Sam offered to have the car delivered for me during the week to expedite the process. The car checked out beautifully and I got a great car at a great price. Although I did not need to use his financing, I can certainly imagine that he would be just as helpful with that process. The car did not have one key and the owner’s manual was missing and when I inquired as to how to locate those to purchase, he kindly took care of both items for me. I had the best car-buying experience ever at European Motors! I started my search online and found three of the same used cars that interested me, one at this dealership and two locally in San Antonio. I called and spoke with a salesperson to get additional information about the car, which they quickly provided. But because I lived over 250 miles away, I asked them to take pictures of any areas on the car that I would be concerned about, since it was used. They really went above and beyond, and took before pics, had those areas detailed and took after pics, too. Then, they matched a price on a similar car that I had found locally. I flew up to the Dallas area, they paid for the taxi ride from the airport, had the car in pristine condition when I arrived already gassed up and a fresh oil change. I never felt any pressure or uncomfortable in any way, which is so important to me throughout the whole experience. I would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone interested in a great car-buying experience.

European is a family owned business. The level of service that my Wife and I received was superior to all other HIGH END vehicle dealers in Plano, and the surrounding Metroplex. If you can arrive home happy after buying a car, it must have been smooth sailing with great people right! Hoyt was our sales guy - very relaxed and defined guy, allowed us plenty of time to check out the car - unsupervised!!! Every question was answered honestly and we're all on the same page fast. When you don't have to doubt people and second guess everything, buying a car can actually be a joy! Alvin, another sales guys, was a joy to meet and chat with while we paused for some reason. My husband and I were in the search for a Cadillac SRX, European Motors had the best deal around. Before we drove to plano I called to make sure the car was still there. I spoke with Hoyt, he was very kind and not pushy during any point in our conversation. Great Experience..... I buy cars often. I have bought from many dealerships, but I have never recommended a dealership. I recently found an Infiniti FX on cars.com. If you are looking to buy a very nice car. I would recommend European Motors. Ask for Sam, this man has more patients and is so pleasent to work with. Great experience. I saw a car they had on Craigslist, and when I walked on the lot Sam gave me the keys and told me to have fun. No hassle, no sales pressure, just a solid, people oriented bunch of guys. Granted, I knew what I wanted going in, but the whole deal took less than a hour. They sell high quality cars at a fair price. The car was really clean and exactly what they advertised. The owner is a christian man and runs his business accordingly. The service mgr came out and talked to me after I had bought it (without provocation), and told me what he had done to service the car, and asked me to call him if I had any questions about the car. I bought a vehicle at european motors. I have never had such a fast transaction. I did my application online, i hav to admit they got me a great deal in comparison to the other guy. The other guy couldnt match the deal at all:(, so went to the dealership, test drove my car a noticed there was something wrong with the vehicle, there was a small air leak in the suspension. We explained our concern and the owner took it upon himself to make it right..They took care of the cost to fix the problem and had my car ready on labor day... The owner was very professional and my happiness mattered... My overall experience was great... they really aren't your average dealership... My name is Lisa Jarvis, and I would like to share my experience at European Car Motors with my FAVORITE car salesman Sam, and not to mention this is my 1st car purchase. Sam was very nice and helpful with the purchase of my CLS550 Mercedes. He worked with me on my downpayment, and was very understanding, with my options. He promised me some things on my car, and when I came back he took care of the promises he made to me.

I also had the pleasure of taking my car into the service department, where Erik and Stepnen was very helpful with the promises that Sam made to me, I had someone else take my car into the service dept, and these two men were so nice and pleasant, and It really means alot when you can walk into a dealership and the person is willing to work with you right away, and to top it off keep the promise that they made to you.

I have to admit I was skeptical about purchasing a car that wasn't from a dealership but the online ad got my attention. Hoyt was my sales person & really worked with me to make the sale. He was pleasant & not pushy at all. Everything they promised was done & we are very happy with the car we purchased. Naz, who handled the financial part, was extremely nice & made me feel confident about the purchase. I live out of town but wanted to put new tires on car before I went home. Discount Tire across the street, had to order them & it would be several days, so Hoyt gave me the name of some guys he'd worked with at Affordable Tires on Whitlock Ln. in Carrolton. Their place was at an industrial park, but Scott & Greg were awesome!! They found the tires I wanted locally & had them ready to put on & did a great job. I wish I lived in the Dallas area so I could use them every time we have tire needs.

My name is Russell Brown and I live in the northeast/texarkana texas region of the state. I was the previous owner of a 2007 Nissan maxima. Now, I have to admit: the maxima I own(ed) in my opinion was one of the cleanest I had ever seen but I felt like making a dramatic change in my driving experience. So, I started searching the internet for sports cars. mind you , I live approximately three hours away from the Dallas area!!! At first , I looked at the BMW 335i but then I noticed that the Infiniti G37S had more gadgets and gizmos to suit my liking. I talked with salesman Hoyt Skyrme for about almost a week (via email and by phone) before I actually got to European Motors. Hoyt treated me with such calmness,class, and professionalism, that when I left I felt like as if I were a part of their family. They gave me a great deal on my trade-in. I even had the opportunity of meeting the owner and actually shaking his hand. That’s something extremely rare to find in this day and time with a lot of businesses not being near as personable towards the customer. Overall, I could not have asked for a better buying experience and every car I purchase in the future, Hoyt and the guys will forever have my business. If your in the market for a vehicle, don't hesitate to ask for Hoyt and check these guys out, because you will leave a different person or like I was; smiling from ear to ear all the way home!!!!

I recently purchased a used Mini Cooper from European Motors. This was an amazing car purchase because of the lack of pressure from the staff and the quality of service. I found the car on line and liked the price. I went and looked at the car, drove it and decided that, with a couple of repairs, it was the car for me. We came to a verbal/handshake agreement and they said they would get the repairs done. I must tell you here that the price we agreed to was based on what was listed on their web site (someone goofed and had the car way underpriced on the web) and the price was well below book value. The car was sent to the local Mini dealer for the requested repairs and at that time I had the Mini Dealer do a toe to tail inspection of the car. They found a worn clutch that would cost an additional $3000.00 to repair ( through the Mini dealer) and at this point I was ready to walk on the deal. Sam called me and asked if I would split the cost of the parts with the European Motors and get the clutch installed with no labor cost. My share of the parts was less than $600.00 and the car was still a couple thousand below Blue Book and NADA values so I went with it. When all was said and done, Sam honored the handshake price and never once tried to get a penny more than what we agreed on. They took a loss on this deal but ended up with a happy customer who will send others to see them.

Recently purchased a 2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe and I'm nothing less than content. The staff was amazing, they treated me like family and overall made it a comfortable environment. If you decide to buy here ask for Hoyt Skyrme, incredible consultant. He was calm, understanding, and thorough throughout the entire process, which was relatively short being under 3 hours.

I have recently purchased a vehicle for my wife from Sam at European Motors.

The process was very smooth and quick. Due to a very busy schedule Sam made it possible to handle almost all communication through email. Sam was very easy going and great to work with. He did not at all have the stereotypical attitude of the “used car” salesman.

I felt I received a very fair and reasonable deal. Ideally I think car buying should have a fair balance between the customers receiving the best bang for their buck while the dealer still makes a small profit. Many times I feel dealers want the largest return back, and don’t care about being fair to their customers. At European Motors I felt that Sam gave me a very good deal and it was very fair. I had compared many other dealers all over the metroplex for the same make and model and could not find any that would come close to the price.

I am a very cautious buyer so I had an independent Used car inspector come and inspect the car. The only flaws he could find was it need a new gas cap (due to the old one being a key one that had been stripped) and a new tire pressure monitor sensor. Everything else looked great. I spoke with Sam about the issues and he quickly got those fixed.

The auto inspector even had some great things to say about Europeans Motors chief mechanic. He said that he was one of the best that he had seen at a dealership. Everything overall went very smooth and it was a great buy.

I highly recommend European Motors to anyone wanting a great deal, and great reliability on their next auto purchase.

My husband and I traded in an LR3 for a newer Ford Expedition and found the experience to be extremely positive. Naz was thorough, detailed, responsive and just plain nice. Naz is friendly, helpful, honest, straight, and understanding. She was only interested in helping me find the right deal for me. I test drove and loved the Lexus GS, but still had some reservations. She and I talked through my doubts and she was totally candid on the advantages and risks in buying a used car. She did not push or suggest I would be missing a deal.
I bought and am very happy. I needed a couple of extras that were missing with the car and she immediately offered to take care of them. Plus, she
took care of an extra that I wanted before I picked up the car and I had planned to pay for myself! Finally, she helped me get acquainted with the car's features.

We are from Northwest Arkansas and looked for cars on line for several months. The used car market in our area is very inefficient and expensive compared to other parts of the country plus used car prices are rising. European Motors had the best deal on a 2008 Toyota Avalon and everything about the car looked good on line, in conversations with Sam and through CarFax.

When we arrived in Addison to pick it up, things started to fall apart. During the test drive something felt wrong. The transmission and brakes felt different from what I would have expected compared to the 2002 Avalon we drive. When we returned to the dealership, Sam drove it and immediately agreed. The first thing he did when we got to his office was to hand us our cashier's check and said that was our first choice. However, if we would give them time to see what was wrong, he would personally see that the car was fixed to our satisfaction. We agreed to stay the night in Dallas to hear what Toyota said was the problem and would need to do in order to correct it. Russell (the owner) called us that evening apologizing for our inconvenience and confirming what Sam had told us.

Turns out the transmission was a problem. While it was still in Warranty, the Toyota dealership simply wanted to replace a few parts. Sam took the lead insisting they replace the entire transmission with a new one and replace other parts of the system (such as the radiator) that were not working as he thought they should. Sam also corrected the brake issue and a couple of other minor issues at his own cost and ensured Toyota address two Recall items that had not been taken care of by the previous owner in California. After ensuring everything was in top condition, Sam then arranged to have the car shipped to NWA last week on a carrier so it would not incur added mileage. After driving it since then, we could not be more pleased. This is an extremely nice car.

In every way (other than having the problem in the first place), European Motors performed well above what we would have hoped. They were concerned that a customer needed to be fully satisfied. The takeaway is that in our experience, the desire of Sam and Russell is to ensure their customers are pleased so they return for future purchases and refer others. It's unfortunate they have received the negative reviews written in this website. The problem they face is what any dealer in used cars faces - they do not fully know the use and condition

I am an existing customer of European Motors. I had such a great experience the first time I was there I recommended them to my friends, family and a few of them have also bought a car from the dealership. I actually had the pleasure of working with the “Manager Sam” and I must say he is thorough, extremely attentive to accuracy and detail, very knowledgeable regarding his inventory, as well as his competitor’s inventory within a 500mile radius. Sam took the time to listen to the type of cars and features I was interested in, did some research to ensure I was getting the best deal. He made several references to the mileage, pricing and features on similar cars other dealerships had for sale, which speaks for itself as far as showing you what lengths he goes to ensure you will be extremely satisfied with your purchase. Sam never once pressured or pushed me into buying the car, and asked me a few times if I wanted to check out this one particular car at another dealership before I made my final decision. The time, attention and effort that I was given is why I bought from European Motors. I am a single mother and by no means a “high roller”, so as to the reviews that I have recently read I must disagree with your opinion. If you are in the market for a car then you will end up dealing with one of the sales reps at some point in time. Given the fact that the reps work in “Sales” I cannot wrap my head around the fact that you were not offered/denied to test drive a car you may possibly buy, but further more that the sales rep would intentionally do such a thing that takes money out of his pocket. I was referred by a friend to this dealership. I looked through their online inventory and found a vehicle I was interested in. I called on the phone to set an appointment, the sales person I was referred to was off on the day I had planned to come. She gladley advised she would meet us on her day off to assist us if need be. AND SHE DID!! I pulled into the lot and the car I was interested in was waiting in the front along with the wonderful sales person. I took it for a test drive and was very impressed with the quallity of the vehicle!! The owner of the business took time out to introduce himself, and asked if we had any questions! IT WAS A NO PRESSURE ENVIORNMENT, I FELT LIKE A FRIEND INSTEAD OF A CUSTOMER. Needless to say we bought the BMW and absolutely love it! I would refer this business to anyone looking for a great dealership!!

I purchased a 2004 Mercedes Benz CL 600 from European Motors over the internet. The car looked great on the web and even looked great when I got it.The first time I started the car a message came on saying tire pressure monitor sensor,drive car to dealer.
I immediately called Spencer the car salesmen who sold me the vehicle and made him aware of the problem,he told me he would speak with the mechanic who checked out the vehicle and he would get back to me. Spencer got back to me right away and told me that the mechanic said to just go to a tire store and they could reset the monitors. I took the vehicle to a tire store and they informed me that I had 2 bad sensors which will cost me $600.00 to replace.
I called Spencer at European Motors to inform him what I had discoved and he got authorization to reimburse me for the $600.00 repair.I can't thank him enought for a wonderful buying expierence.

Picked up a 2007 BMW off of Autotrader. Spencer was my salesperson. We set up the deal and then had the car out the door in about two hours. Great price, car as promised and everything was clearly disclosed. Two months later and no issues, very satisfied with my purchase. Very likely to do business again - give them a shot.

I bought my Sequoia from Spencer off of eBay. He was a nice to work with, and the vehicle was described very accurately. I found that the navigation instuctions were missing and called Spencer and he went ahead and just ordered me the book. Thanks. I recomend!

I just bought a car from here and I found it to be a very simple process. have bought three beautiful cars from European Motors and am very satisfied... everytime I take my bimmer or mercedez to the dealership for scheduled maintenance all I hear is good reviews about European Motors. I always recommend this dealershhip to my friends and family, and the staff at european is very friendly too, another significant aspect about european motors is that their prices are very competitive.
There is a reason why they have been in business for 20+ years.

I searched for about 3 weeks for my car before finding it at European Motors. I called and talked to the salesman who knew alot about Infiniti's. My wife and I went there a few days later and drove home in my new (to me) Infiniti QX56. They are fair people and I feel like I got a great deal. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a luxury car in Dallas

I'm a little paranoid about not getting a good deal, so I looked online a lot (ebay, craigslist, etc.) and went to 10 to 12 dealerships. A few dealerships ruled themselves out because they'd bring in one of those annoying "closers" to close the deal and I'd just be out of there. It was a pain driving all over the metroplex (I live in Mesquite), but I ended up buying my Audi from European Motors because they had the best price for the car I wanted. I took it to a mechanic and it was completely clean. The guy I worked with was very respectful and knew his stuff.

I just purchased my 2006 Infiniti M35 from European Motors. This was the easiest and best car purchase experience I've had in 35 years. I was a little sceptical after reading some of the other reviews but I thought I would give them a shot. They went above and beyond to earn my business. I will be refering all my friends and family to them. Unfortunately its impossible to make everyone happy, but they did a great job with my sale. Kudos European Motors!

I have purchased 3 vehicle from these guys in the past 8 years, the most recent 3 days ago. I have always had great experiences, pre and post sale. They have the best prices around and I enjoy their no pressure attitude and friendly sales staff.

I bought a 2007 Infiniti G35 from European Motors. As a first time buyer I was having trouble getting approved for the amount I needed - I had been turned down somewhere else, even though I have have great credit, just not alot of it. Craig and Spencer were able to get it done, it did take them 3 days to do it, and I am extremely pleased with their help and service. The price was also $850 less than any other car out there.
